It doesn’t get much better than horseback riding in Playa Venao — and you have two options to go on one here.

Playa Venao Horse is the most personalized option and the one to use if riding on the beach is at the top of your list. The owner, who speaks some English, can take up to six people and will meet you in Venao central.

Eco Venao is a reforestation and permaculture “resort” that is responsible for planting 25,000 trees on over 30 hectares of land in the last 13 years. They offer horseback rides for up to three people on their property. This is the best option if you want to see the interior, (possibly) monkeys, and make a stop at a beautiful viewpoint at the top of a mountain. The guide only speaks Spanish.
