Fishing on the Tuna Coast in Playa Venao is world class! This area is closed to commercial fishing, far from crowded, and home to tuna, wahoo, dorado, snapper and so much more.

If you’re new to fishing, the general fishing tour will have you trolling a large area looking for feeding fish. Experienced fishermen/women have the opportunity for spinning, jigging, live baiting, throwing poppers, and targeting specific fish. Whether you’re going solo or with a group, fishing with Playa Venao Fishing is a must!

You have a choice of going out in a traditional panga or a fully equipped fishing boat. Not only are Carlos and his guides the nicest in town, but they know where to find the fish and speak both English and Spanish. They’ll even filet anything you catch at the at end of the day!

Hotel pick up can be arranged or you can meet them where they launch at Puerto Cañas. Reservations are a must as these guys get busy!
