Gabriel Bernal is a jewelry designer in Panama City, Panamá—originally from the Pacific Coast of Chiriqui. His creativity was inspired by carving hunting trophies out of animal teeth, claws or shells with his grandfather. Says Gabriel when asked about other influences on his work…“While traveling to Egypt in the 2000s, I got to see traditional jewelers work and create everything from jewelry to small sculptures, mastering the forge and casting techniques. What got me hooked was the metal melting and pouring of sculptures.”
