There are several things to do in Destiladeros!

Just 25 minutes from Pedasí), this is a wild, wonderful, and uncrowded area. It’s the perfect place to take long walks on the beach and enjoy the gorgeous beachfront properties and the natural beauty around you.

Here are some treasures to look for:

Do check the tide before you go—it’s always best to go at low tide. And, as with all of the local beaches, watch for riptides! (You definitely want to get educated on riptides if you plan on swimming here.)

When you’re in the area, don’t miss Playa Toro and Playa Punta Mala on another day!

from pedasí:

Drive to El Limón (in the direction of Playa Venao), turn left at the grocery store and follow the road. When you come to the split, take the road on the right with the sign for Destiladeros.

You’ll be on this road all the way to Playa Los Destiladeros. Just before this first beach, you’ll see a road that takes you to Hotel Punta Franco and Playa Los Panamaes.

from playa venao:

Drive to in the direction of Pedasí. Just before town, you’ll go through El Limón…turn right just after the grocery store and follow the road. When you come to the split, take the road on the right with the sign for Destiladeros.
